Adventure Tourism Winter with the Whistler Adventure School, British Columbia in Canada
Do you love winter? Make your lifestyle your career! Adventure Tourism Winter is a diploma program that teaches the basic fundamental skills necessary to become a part of the winter outdoor tourism industry. Skill sets emphasized include snow safety, ski, snowboard, guiding, winter camping, leadership and survival. Students will be equipped to enter the outdoor industry on an entry level.

Students enrolled in this program are required to purchase a seasons pass (Whistler Blackcomb or Epic Pass) for access to the mountain. (the price for the pass is not included in the program cost).

Aimed towards the individual who is looking for outdoor adventure experiences and training. Learn new skills and techniques to help you to navigate in the mountains in winter and learn the fundamentals of backcountry skiing or boarding.
Choose from our 1-Year Program or an Accelerated 6-Month Program. Cost is CAN$ 7,500 plus up to CAN$ 450 for trip fees (varies) and CAN$ 75 for text books. There is a CAN$ 250 application fee.

Want to earn academic credits towards a British Columbia (B.C.) High School Graduation Certificate or for transfer to your home country? Students hoping to graduate with a B.C. Graduation Certificate must be prepared to study for at least two years (longer if English language skills require significant development).
Students are enrolled in a variety of academic and non-academic elective courses. We are able to confirm academic course enrollment prior to arrival, for students applying at least three months in advance of program start date.
Fees for the high school programmes 2022 - 2023: CAN$ 13,725 for one semester
